Private instructions are offered for students beginning at five years of age through adulthood. The beginning student has a thirty-minute lesson per week. Depending upon the commitment, ability, and level, students are encouraged to extend their weekly lesson time to 45- or 60- minute lessons. Our students participate in evaluations in the form of concerts and many of them have chances to attend State competitions.
This beginner level class is perfect for first-time musicians. Students will learn the basics of instrument and musical theory.
The intermediate class builds off of the skills acquired in the beginner class. Students will continue working with their instrument and reading music.
The advanced class is for students who have been playing consistently for over 5 years. Instructors provide guidance where needed, but students can direct the class where they need it.
Offered to K-12 grade and college level students; based on the curriculum requirements and suited to the children's capabilities. Individual lesson plans are built according to the students interests and abilities. Music theory and appreciation are incorporated into a lesson plans.
